Cheap Leather Sofas

Find cheap sofas at IKEA. I know it’s probably the first place many of you thought anyway, but IKEA have good quality furniture at prices that strip chunks off other furniture sofas. IKEA is also great for cheap leather sofas. ¹

At the upper end of IKEA’s sleep sofas is the leather sofa bed, Torekov, selling for $1,499 and available only in IKEA’s stores. While pricey, Torekov is an affordable alternative to other retail furniture stores that sell leather couches. As a couch, Torekov measures almost 82 inches wide. ²

Many other of the large warehouse sofa stores offer very cheap leather sofas in some ranges. They are able to do this because they use a grade of leather called ‘Splits’ or ‘Pony’ which is essentially a much lower grade of leather. ³

People have bought cheap leather sofas and after a couple of years the leather has creased in a very displeasing way whereas mine still look brand new. This is partly a function of how firm your couch is and whether your seating position eventually gives way. ⁴
