To have something comfortable and visually pleasant such as good furniture in our environment, whether it is in a workplace or in our very own home is important. In our working place, it is important because it might affect on our creativity and our mood to work harder. In our home, we can make a cozy mood where everyone who lives in it and also the guesses will feel contented.

There are so may type of furniture. Historically, it has been traced back from 2500 BC that the first furniture is used during the Neolithic period for cupboard, bed, shelves, dressers, and stone seats. Off course, during that time the furniture was made from stone. What about the furniture during this modern era? An example for the current type of furniture is contemporary leather furniture.

The contemporary leather furniture is furniture that is made by leather with the minimalist yet natural shapes and texture style. There are so many types of leather, however, in general there are three of them. They are top grain or full grain leather with aniline and semi aniline finish types, corrected grain with pigmented and semi-aniline finish types, and lastly the split leather.

In contemporary leather furniture as well as other types of furniture, the forms of items are including some of the common categories such as storage furniture (drawers, shelves, doors, etc), beds, chairs, sofas, and tables. Besides using leather, other materials that are common to be used for furniture are wood, metal, plastic. The variety of the furniture’s price depends on the material and the design, since furniture is known as decorative art.
